"The Promise" is the eight studio video lyrics album of legendary video lyrics maker Darwin Dagohoy, This album was set to released 5th March 2018 like what he said on twitter. The album was contains some of the unreleased/unknown or B-side song from 90's boybands under DLD Records. The album features Darwin's favorite all-time pop songs (Unreleased/Bonus Tracks/B-sides), such as *NSYNC's "Falling", Plus One's "Here In My Heart", Backstreet Boys' "Satellite" and Westlife's "I'm Missing Loving You" along with some producers' suggestions.
The album's lead single, Westlife's "Maybe Tomorrow" was premiered 6 November 2017, along with the lyric video.
The Japanese version was released on 25 Jun 2018 with new lyric video as well as European bonus tracks was released on 15 Oct 2018.
